Please join us as Ashley Perkinson, NCOTA Lobbyist, discusses the legislative process, the upcoming long session, and efforts you might undertake as a school-based OT to advocate for moving school-based OTs from the classified salary schedule to the certified salary schedule. NCOTA has adopted a position supporting advocacy efforts to move school-based OTs from the classified salary scale to the certified salary scale. We will also hear from current school-based occupational therapists who will share their "WHY" regarding this important issue. Please come and add your voice!
